Tara's Meadow is proud to partner with a variety of institutions and organizations to bring hands-on experiential education to students across Michigan. An excellent example of how we can work together to deeply impact students' lives is with our collaboration with North Central Michigan College's natural sciences and sustainability programs, including Environmental & Sustainability Studies, an exciting new two-year Associate of the Arts program.
Led by Kerri Finlayson and Seamus Norgaard, this degree prepares students to take a multidisciplinary approach to analyze the cultural, ecological, philosophical, economic, political and biophysical factors that contribute to environmental issues. A focus of this program is to provide opportunities for immersive and applied learning, including internship opportunities working with local environmental organizations.
